How Does the Policy work?

Mr. Ahmed having an age of 30 years buys this policy with a Face Amount of BDT 5 lac. The following could be some probable scenarios:

a. Scenario 1 (Survival at the end of the policy without contracting any CI): BDT 5 lacs would be paid as maturity benefit.

b. Scenario 2 (Survival at the end of the policy after one occurrence of any CI): BDT 5 lacs less any critical illness treatment payment would be paid as maturity benefit.

c. Scenario 3 (Death due to any other cause): He unfortunately dies due to natural cause/accident then his beneficiary/nominee would receive BDT 5 lac as Death Coverage. The policy will terminate upon payment of such benefit.

d. Scenario 4 (Death due to any CI): He unfortunately dies due to any CI after then his beneficiary/nominee would receive BDT 5 lac as Death Coverage less any major/ minor critical illness benefits paid out or due.

e. Scenario 5 (Occurrence of any minor CI): BDT 1.5 lacs would be paid on treatment.

f. Scenario 6 (Occurrence of any major CI without claiming to any minor CI): BDT 1 lac would be paid as lumpsum payment, BDT 2.5 lacs will be paid for hospitalization or Treatment and the rest of the amount I.e., 1.5 las will be paid as maturity benefit or further treatment for the said CI.

g. Scenario 7 (Occurrence of any major CI after claiming to any minor CI): BDT 1.5 lac was already paid as lumpsum payment for minor CI, BDT 1 lac would be paid as lumpsum payment for the CI treatment, BDT 2.5 lacs will be paid for hospitalization or Treatment. There would be no amount for maturity benefit.

h. The policy will continue as long as the total Face Amount is not paid to the policyholder till the end of the term.
